Mamata running 'Mulla Madrasa Mafia' sarkar in Bengal: Amit Shah
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee conveyed her greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Ram Navami, emphasizing the imperative of peace restoration. In a message shared on a micro-blogging site on Wednesday morning, Banerjee underscored the significance of maintaining harmony amidst the celebrations, particularly in light of recent concerns over potential unrest.
Banerjee's gesture of wishing for peace restoration alongside Ram Navami greetings comes in the wake of her previous remarks expressing apprehensions about possible riots during the festival, particularly directed towards the Hindu community. With the Lok Sabha elections ongoing, a substantial deployment of security forces has been observed across the state to ensure peace and security during the festivities. Despite law and order being under the purview of the Election Commission, special directives have been issued to prioritize peace restoration in all regions.
